Christian + Academic + Mom: An Ongoing Conversation

Christian + Academic + Mother. It's not easy, right? Living in this space is hard enough, but the last couple of years have brought a new level of challenge to those of us who juggle motherhood and academia while seeking to live out these callings (and others) as followers of Jesus. Amid the challenges there are also moments of reward and joy.

Join us for a continuation of the conversations we began as we read and discussed Power Women: Stories of Motherhood, Faith, and the Academy. Find encouragement, challenge, and camaraderie as you connect with others in similar situations.

We'll tackle the topic of "Loving Well" at our next online meeting on Monday, February 6 at 8pm Eastern. Register below!

When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus said the following, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”

Valentine's Day is around the corner and conversations abound about love and relationships. What does it look like to love our neighbors well, especially when there are so many of them—students, colleagues, family members, actual neighbors next door. Join us for our next Christian + Academic + Mother conversation as we tackle this topic by considering the classic "love chapter" — 1 Corinthians 13.
