Jessica Tsai Chin

Jessica Tsai Chin is a leader driven by her dual passions for social impact and consumer-driven insights. After growing up in San Diego, Jessica studied Business Administration and Chinese at the University of California, Berkeley. While there, she discovered her passion for consumer businesses and began her career with Apple, Inc. in the company’s prestigious finance development program. Jessica then served as global project manager heading Apple’s retail expansion efforts in China, where she designed and implemented Apple’s end-to-end infrastructure system to expand operations from three stores to twenty-five in just three years. Her unique ability to empathize with others led her to design a new store launch process that created seamless interactions between customers and Apple’s retail employees across China.

Jessica is currently attaining her MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and will further her expertise in branding and strategy by joining Nike after graduation. A Youn Impact Scholar, Jessica also makes time for her other passion: social impact. While in China, Jessica founded a nonprofit that empowers women to succeed in the workplace by providing them with training and professional development tools. Today, the nonprofit continues to hold annual conferences in Shanghai and Shenzhen to provide coaching, mentorship, and training for women from all walks in life. More recently, Jessica launched QuickPulse, a social enterprise focused on solving frontline female employee turnover in China. Jessica hopes to eventually put her expertise in branding and strategy to work by leading a large nonprofit organization focused on woman empowerment in Asia.

Outside of her exceedingly busy professional pursuits, Jessica is an athlete at heart and loves hiking the outdoors. She is also involved in numerous faith-based organizations and looks forward to continuing her involvement upon returning to China following her graduation from Kellogg this June.
