Dr. Elizabeth “Lisa” Sung is a systematic theologian rooted in the Reformed tradition. In 2017, she was appointed to a two-year visiting research professorship at Mundelein Seminary (the largest Catholic seminary in North America) and her appointment was aimed at helping the seminary community engage the 500th anniversary of the Reformation with depth and nuance.
Prior to her current position at Mundelein Seminary, Dr. Sung was Associate Professor in the Department of Biblical and Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and before that was a vocational minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She is also a classically trained pianist.
