Making art provides a way to reflect on Scripture using our senses and through metaphor so we can experience the text in a personal, embodied way and gain deeper insight into God's word for us. Join visual artist Leslie Iwai and Women in the Academy and Professions for two virtual workshops of reflecting on Scripture through art. Leslie will guide us through a process of creative lectio divina with passages from Isaiah 42-43 and asks you to bring visual arts materials that you have at home to create your own piece of art during the workshop.
