Natalie d'Aubermont Thompson lives outside Ann Arbor, Michigan with her husband David, their three children and super-pup, Patches. She's the founder/CEO of Saltar Consulting where she focuses on leadership coaching and team organizational development and writes about books and all things literary-related at Living by the Page. Natalie is Argentine-American and has worked, studied, and volunteered in over 40 countries. She received her BA from Tufts University and her Master's from the London School of Economics in International Relations.

Dr. Laura Schmitt Olabisi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Sustainability and the Environmental Science and Policy Program at Michigan State University. She is a participatory systems modeler and works directly with stakeholders to build models that foster adaptive learning about the dynamics of coupled human-natural systems, and to integrate stakeholder knowledge with academic knowledge. Laura holds a doctoral degree in Systems Ecology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from Brown University. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, she now lives in East Lansing, Michigan with her husband (an economist) and their six-year-old son.

Dr. Amy Davis Abdallah is Associate Professor of Theology and Bible at Nyack College and Adjunct Professor of Worship at Alliance Theological Seminary. She preaches and teaches for churches, conferences, and other ministries in the United States and internationally. She also encourages Christian women to expand the Kingdom of God through the educational program Empower as well as a rite of passage for Nyack College Seniors. She is the author of The Book of Womanhood, and her writing has been featured by Christianity Today, CBE International, Redbud Writers Guild, and Missio Alliance. Amy loves to exercise, take photos, climb mountains, adventure with her husband and sons, learn languages, and enjoy the beach. Kim King (JD, University of Alabama) served as an attorney and executive in the law department of Exxon Mobil Corporation for over thirty years prior to leaving to pursue speaking and writing. She continues to practice privately assisting nonprofits and the under-served. She is a member of the leadership team of Women Doing Well Initiatives, an affiliate of Generous Living, which provides education and tools for women to facilitate generosity. Most recently, she joined the Board of Trustees of Thrivent Trust Company, a Christian financial services company. Kim lives in Houston, Texas.

Phyllis J. Le Peau worked with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for over two decades in St. Louis and the Chicago metro area. She is also the author of several Bible study guides published by Zondervan and InterVarsity Press, including the LifeGuide Bible Studies Acts, Love, and Women of the New Testament. She and her husband, Andy, coauthored the LifeGuide Bible Study Grandparenting. They have four married children and thirteen grandchildren.

Jessica Tsai Chin is a leader driven by her dual passions for social impact and consumer-driven insights. After studying Business Administration and Chinese at the University of California, Berkeley, she discovered her passion for consumer businesses and began her career with Apple, Inc., ultimately serving as global project manager heading Apple’s retail expansion efforts in China. Jessica is currently attaining her MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
 
Outside of her exceedingly busy professional pursuits, Jessica is an athlete at heart and loves hiking the outdoors. She is also involved in numerous faith-based organizations and looks forward to continuing her involvement upon returning to China following her graduation from Kellogg this June.

Dr. Suhithi Peiris Fellow, American Physical Society is the Senior Scientist, Munitions Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida where she is the principal scientific authority in Enhanced Energy Effects responsible for research and development that increases Air Force ordnance capabilities. Since this interview she is also Acting Chief Scientist, Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Arlington, Virginia where she is the principal adviser to the Director in matters of formulation, planning, management and integration of all Air Force basic research programs. She is married to Brett Goodman and travels between her homes in Virginia and Florida. They are members of Cherrydale Baptist church in Arlington, Virginia, and she has been attending Safe Harbor Presbyterian in Destin, Florida. They frequently host guests visiting DC for many weeks of the year, a habit she continues in Florida.

As of Christmas 2017, Adrienne is a third year tenure-track faculty member in special education & teacher preparation at Western Carolina University, living very near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She and her husband relocated from the Atlanta, Georgia region, where she taught high school special education for 12 years before earning her PhD at Georgia State University. Aside from chopping up fallen trees for firewood, her passions include improving interactions between high school teachers and struggling students and equipping teachers to teach diverse students. 

Rebecca Carhart is an associate academic editor at InterVarsity Press. She has an MA in Christian Formation and Ministry from Wheaton College Graduate School, is a trained spiritual director, and currently serves as a deacon at her church. A native of northeast Nebraska, Rebecca lives in Illinois, and blogs at rebeccafaith.wordpress.com.
